Crafted in collaboration with La Nef Chocolate and featuring sustainably-harvested sea salt from Slack Tide. Just down the bay from our home in Deer Isle, La Nef was founded on Monhegan Island by artists-and-chocolatiers Mandy and Dylan. (“Isle La Nef” was the name given to Monhegan in 1605 by the explorer Samuel de Champlain.) All of their bars support other makers, farmers, and artists in their community. They use biodegradable and recyclable packaging, source high quality ingredients, and deal in direct trade for fair treatment of farmers.
