The best mornings of the holiday season start slowly around the table, in community: a pot of coffee, a slice of stollen, a bowl of granola. This box brings all three together.
Our Stollen for Sharing and Granola for Giving are made in collaboration with The Sow Project, a nonprofit culinary training program in Memphis led by chef Ben Vaughn. Students earn 470 hours of hands-on kitchen training at no cost — no tuition, no debt — along with the credentials and job support to build a career in food.
Featuring a festive stollen bread: a dense, fruit-studded German loaf wrapped around a ribbon of marzipan, baked by Sow Project students and tied up in a natural muslin bag. The Caramel Apple Crunch Granola is organic and cinnamon-warm, full of pecans, almonds, coconut, and dried apple, sweetened with maple syrup. Packaged in bio-degradable cellophane.
Our Coffee for Community features organic, fair trade beans from 44 North Coffee, named after the Royal Tar circus ship that sank off Deer Isle in 1836. Today, on this same island, neighbors Narrative Food and 44 North Coffee share a commitment to building community, locally and with small-scale producers worldwide. A woman-owned roastery, 44 North sources these coffee beans from B Corp certified Coop Coffees, supporting the farmers of Pangoa, COMSA, and Sidama Union.
