Stollen for Sharing Festive marzipan and candied fruit bread
Stollen is Germany's traditional holiday bread — rich, dense, and meant to be sliced thin and passed around the table. This one comes with a story worth sharing, too.
Our Stollen for Sharing is made in collaboration with The Sow Project, a nonprofit culinary training program in Memphis led by chef Ben Vaughn. Students earn 470 hours of hands-on kitchen training at no cost — no tuition, no debt — along with the credentials and job support to build a career in food.
Each 16 oz loaf is baked by Sow Project students -- fruit-studded and wrapped around a ribbon of marzipan, and tied up in a natural muslin bag. Share a slice — you're helping fund the next student's seat at the table.
Made with organic wheat flour, butter, milk, sugar, eggs, raisins, candied fruit, almonds, yeast, dark rum, vanilla, citrus zest, salt, and powdered sugar.
