Some things can only come from exactly one place. This hand-harvested flake sea salt is made by Usha Beaudoin on Matinicus Island — a remote outpost twelve miles off the Maine coast, accessible only by small plane or ferry, and home to one of the most fiercely independent fishing communities in New England. Usha draws seawater from the cold Atlantic, evaporates it slowly in small batches, and finishes it by hand. The result is a delicate, mineral-bright crystal that carries the character of its place: wild, clean, and deeply coastal.
Sprinkle it over chocolate, finish a steak, or set it on the table and let people discover it for themselves.
