Coffee, caramel, and the coast — all in one box.
From a working waterfront roastery to a caramel kitchen in the western hills to a sea-harvested salt farm on a remote island, this box gathers three small-batch makers who call Maine home. Each brings a different piece of the state's character to your table — bold, sweet, and briny in equal measure.
Our Coffee for Community features organic, fair trade beans from 44 North Coffee, named after the Royal Tar circus ship that sank off Deer Isle in 1836. Today, on this same island, neighbors Narrative Food and 44 North Coffee share a commitment to building community, locally and with small-scale producers worldwide. A woman-owned roastery, 44 North sources these coffee beans from B Corp certified Coop Coffees, supporting the farmers of Pangoa, COMSA, and Sidama Union.
Paired with Caramels for the Climate from Virgo Moon in western Maine. These artisanal caramels are made with local cream and butter, creating a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth treat. Each small batch supports Maine's dairy farmers while delivering pure, seasonal indulgence.
Rounding out the box, our Wild Sea Salt, Landed at Matinicus, is hand-harvested by Usha Beaudoin on Matinicus Island — a remote outpost twelve miles off the coast of Maine. Atlantic seawater is solar-evaporated in small batches, yielding delicate, mineral-bright crystals with a wild, clean, deeply coastal character.
